Akshay Tritiya is also called \u201cAkha Teej\u201d. Akshay is a Hindi word which means \u201cwhich cannot be destroyed\u201d, and which will stay forever. Akshay Tritiya 2025 will be celebrated on <\/span>30 April 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

It is celebrated on the trateeya tithi of shukla paksha in vaishakh maas or on the third lunar day of brighter half of lunar month named Vaishakh.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Hindu religion it is a very important tithi and occasion. It is believed that all the good deeds done on this day will have everlasting impact. This is the best day to begin new things be it buying gold, car, starting business or child birth or marriage. It is good for everything. Donations done on this day are believed to have multiple effects and increase the punya (good deeds) of the native.<\/span><\/p>\n

This day is also known as \u201csarvsiddhi\u201d day. On this day anyone can perform all the good deeds without consulting any astrologer. On this day if we pray to God then he removes the sins done not only by us but by our forefathers.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Hindu muhurta, first tithi of chaitra shukla paksh, tenth tithi of ashvin maas (vijay dashmi), Third tithi of bright half of vaishaakh maas, first tithi of shukla paksh of kaartik maas are considered auspicious. The last is counted half and thus they are a called sade teen muhurtas. It is believed that Sun and Moon are at their optimum brightness on these days.<\/span><\/p>\n
